Abstract:

In construction, it is necessary to dig, fill, level the face ground. When the foundation is hard rock, or large orphan rock, it is necessary to cause the rock mass to split into small blocks. The article presents a method of breaking rock with baking powder. The characteristics of the method and how to calculate the parameters of the rock breaking method with baking powder were given. Numerical illustration calculations were considered. Research results can be used to break rocks during excavation, backfilling or leveling when constructing works in specific locations.
