Abstract:

The voltage and current asymmetry in the three-phase power supply system in general and in the system of mining enterprises in particular causes many negative consequences, including economic, technical and safety. It is urgent to eliminate these asymmetries or reduce them to acceptable limits. The paper proposes suitable solutions for the power supply systems at the mining enterprises in order to eliminate the asymmetry in these ones, ensuring the power quality standards; economic, technical and safety criteria.
