Abstract:
Optimizing the underground mine ventilation schema is an important and complicated issue not only in Vietnam but also in some countries around the world in order to improve the efficiency of ventilation both technically and economically. In 2023, Dong Bac Corporations cooperated with the Center for Mining Science, Technology and Environment, Hanoi Mine - Geological University to research, evaluate the current situation and propose solutions to improve the ventilation efficiency of the Dong Bac Corporation's underground coal mines. Initial results have brought a number of main fan stations, local fans, ventilation system to work more efficiently, more favorable wind flow regulation, contributing to ensuring safety and improving microclimate conditions in the mines and initially determined the direction of applying ventilation network automation solutions in the future to ventilation and gas management at underground coal mines of Dong Bac Corporations.
