Abstract:
Currently, vertical shaft impact crusher (VSI) is widely used in industries such as construction and mining. It is used for coarse and fine crushing of hard, brittle materials in order to improve the grain shape quality of crushed materials in the production of high-grade profiled aggregates, artificial sand. The design of VSI parts has a great influence on it’s quality. In particular, the rotor blade’s profile has a significant influence on the grinding efficiency. Currently, specifications for rotor blade’s profile are not much and complete. In Vietnam, some factories have manufactured VSI, the the rotor blade’s profile of these machines is referenced to foreign models. This paper presents the results of the study to determine the relationship between the geometric parameters of the arc-shaped rotor blades. The research results can be applied in the research, design and manufacture of VSI's rotor.
