Abstract:
Vertical shaft impact crusher (VSI) is a type of crusher commonly used in the production of construction materials, especially suitable for crushing rock to produce artificial sand, including mine waste rock. Material particle velocity is an important parameter, directly affecting power consumption, particle size after grinding and productivity of VSIю Calculating impact velocity currently mainly uses empirical formulas, or uses discrete element modeling of the movement of material particles, or some mathematical formulas that do not clarify the influence of tilt angle of the centrifugal rotor blade profile to the speed and power of the rotor driving motor. Based on the reference of mathematical equations for centrifuges with guide vanes, this study focuses on applying mathematical formulas and creating a table to calculate material particle velocity and rotor driving motor power according to tilt angle. Centrifugal rotor blade profile. Calculation examples will be compared with VSI models available on the market as a basis for evaluation. The results of this research can be referenced when designing and manufacturing VSI.
