Abstract:
The technology of constructing the tunnel casing by spraying wet concrete with large thickness is one of the advanced solutions, which has been widely deployed in countries with developed mining industries such as Germany, the US, Russia, China... as well as being effectively applied in many large underground works in Vietnam in the fields of transportation, hydropower and irrigation. This technology not only contributes to improving the level of mechanization in tunnel construction but also significantly improves the quality of the casing structure, increases stability and safety, while reducing construction costs, shortening construction time and expanding the application capability in complex geological conditions. Within the framework of the article, the group of authors conducted an overview study on the process of formation, development and practical application of the technology of spraying wet concrete with large thickness in the world and in Vietnam. On that basis, the article proposes a number of technological diagrams and synchronized equipment suitable for the conditions of underground coal mines in Quang Ninh area.
