Abstract:
We propose the modeling of the contact dynamics as a Non-Smooth discrete element method (NSCD). The theoretical basis of a new approach which makes it possible to consider a better surtace contact with íriction I I between polyhedric discrete eìements analysis simultaneously is studied in this paper. The results of íhe application of the NSCD to investigate the veriíication exampies present the stability conditions of jointed rock slopes: sỉope cuts, tunnel in the mining engineering.
