Abstract:

The mining process has destroyed the ground, greatly affected forests and vegetation, caused deforestation, degraded forest quality, and affected biodiversity. In recent years, remote sensing technology (RS) and geographic information systems (GIS) have been constantly evolving to collect, store, analyze, and display information about entities and superficial phenomena on Earth face, he paper presents the results of applying multi-time satellite remote sensing image data combining spatial analysis in GIS to determine the type of vegetation cover that is fluctuated due to the impact of the coal mining expansion on Cam Pha, Quang Ninh areas in the period 2000-2020.
