Abstract:

The paper presents some research results using finite element method to analyze the magnetic field for the electromagnetic structure in the magnetic separator to overcome the limitations of the analytical method. The results of analysis and simulation help the designer, manufacturer and operator in adjusting parameters of the electromagnetic device to optimize the distribution of the magnetic field, thereby improving the efficiency of the separator used in coal preparation plants.
