Abstract:

Digital transformation is an inevitable trend of the national economic sectors, including the mining industry. The digital transformation process includes many changes in industrial culture, strategies and models of production and business. The report presents the current state of digital transformation in mining enterprises around the world, especially in industrialized countries. The ability to apply 4.0 technology platforms such as cloud computing, big data, arti?cial intelligence, internet of things, etc. in digital transformation content is analyzed and evaluated. The experience of the world provides information to assess opportunities and challenges for Vietnam’s mining industry in the journey of national digital transformation.
