Abstract:
The characteristics of the coal mining industry in addition to the economic benefits bring, but also leave many negative consequences on the environment. In particular, the problem of dust arising in the process of mining and transporting coal from the mines is assessed to be very serious. Therefore, the coal mining industry has had many measures to limit the spread of dust, depending on the mining conditions that use different measures accordingly. In general, there are two general methods: the method of using fixed dust extinguishing equipment (for narrow spaces) and the method of using mobile dusting equipment (for large spaces) This article presents the calculation and design of a 100m high-pressure centrifugal water pump system to be installed on chassis of CAT773E vehicle to move around the field of coalmines for spraying water and dust.
