Abstract:

The Law on Minerals has been promulgated since 2010, taking e?ect since 2011. Thus, the Law was born 12 years ago. During those 12 years, the socio-economic context in general and mineral resources in particular had many changes, many socio-economic development orientations set many new goals and tasks, leading to the need The demand for minerals is also increasing. Accordingly, the Law on Minerals and the laws related to minerals have many provisions that are no longer appropriate. Currently, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) is tasked by the Government with the task of making a dossier requesting the development of the Mineral Law Project (amended). Within the scope of this article, some opinions on amendments to the Law on Minerals and other laws related to minerals will be given.
