Abstract:

Flotogravitation in teetered-bed separator is the beneficiation process in which the flotation principle is combined with the teetered-bed separation principle. The flotogravitation allows to increase the upper size limit of the feed and to improve the performance of the teetered-bed separator. This report presents the test results of feldspar ore samples 0,2-0,5 mm and 0,5-M,0 mm from Phú Thọ province by the flotogravitation in a laboratory teetered -bed separator. The test results showed that the feldspar ore samples are well beneficiated in the separator: a feldspar concentrate with content Na20+K20>10 % was received with the recovery 70+85 % from the feed 7+8 % of Na20+K20. These preliminary results show that this process have a bright perspective application for beneficiation of coarse grained nonmetallic ores in Vietnam.
