Abstract:
This article presents resuits of copper ion stripping process in organic phase containing petrolium, Acorga M5640 extractant and copper ion. Parameters affecting the stripping process include: conceníration of H2SO4 solution, ratio of volume of H2SO4 solution/ organic phase, contact time between organic phase and stripping solution, number of turns circulating solution. The results show that with technological mode such as: H2S04=225 g/l; ratio cf H2SO4 /organic phase=1:1; contaot time between organic phase and su!fate soíution >80 seconds, the stripping solution is revoìutions 6 times will give a coppor sulíate solutíon containing >42 g/L Cu and ~160 g/L H2SO4 that suitable for copper electrolysis.
