Abstract:

Bản Bon thermal mineral vvater source, 1 Nghĩa Lộ town, Yên Bái province is a precious water source but has not been evaiuated and exploited, causing waste of national resources. The article delves into the characteristics of distrìbution, quality and reserves of thermal mineral water in order to exploit and use it reasonably íorthe íocal socio-economic deveíopment. Research results show that hot mineral water is disừibuted over a wiđe area (400 m long, 200m wide) along the Ban Cài stream. It is possible to observe many veins of mineral water on the banks of the stream with the appearance of harđ rock crevices. Mineral water belorigs to ík;oríde, hot, light mineralízation. The reserve of mineral water is quite abundant, reaching 838 m3/day, so ìt can meet the demand for exploitation and use for economic developmant. Minerat water scurces are distributed in đ3 aged limestone sediments, of good quality for bathing, ecotourìsm. In orderto preserve mineral water sources for sustainable exploitation, it is necessary to comply with proíessional regulations in exploiíation and use. It is necessary to exploit to ensure the lovvering value is lower than the a!lowed iowering value ị and to build a sanitary defense zone.
