Abstract:
The article introduces the existing forms of manganese in titanium ore in the world and some studies of manganese removal. By modern analytical methods, the the paper’s author has clarified the existing form of Mn in the form of pyrophanite mineral. The article also provides some research results orienting MnO reduction method to obtain quality titanium-containing products for the next processing requirements.
