Processing technology for dissemminated nickel ore and the orientation for processing nickel ores from Quang Trung- Hà Trì-Cao Bằng province

Abstract:
Nickel dissemminated ore is hard to enrich due to the impurities with high MgO content. In order to increase the efciency of the processing, a pretreatment operation is required. Around the World there are many researches of pretreatment technologies, such as primary separation the slam containing high MgO, ne particle surface treatment (chemical, heat..), using combine of reagents… Applying the method “Primary separation the slam containing high MgO” to Quang Trung- Ha Tri nickel mine, remarkable results are obtained: the concentrate contains ~9.6 wt% Ni, ~5.5 wt% MgO and nickel recovery reach to ~69 %. This method is suitable to Quang Trung-Hà Trì nickel mine, is feasible to be applied in production.
