Abstract:

The paper analyses the notable features of public petroleum management, namely attracting foreign investment through design and fiscal terms of petroleum contract, production sharing contract management and participation of national oil company in these management processes. In the background of these understandings, the paper describes current situation of petroleum public management in Vietnam, highlights some issues that need to be improved and suggests directions for revision of Petroleum Law in Vietnam.
