Abstract:

The Law on Minerals No. 60/2010/QH12 has been passed by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, term XII, at its 8th session on November 15, 2010 for more than 10 years now. The introduction of the Mineral Law has brought some initial results, but the implementation of the Mineral Law has revealed some shortcomings that need to be improved. After 10 years of implementation of the Mineral Law in 2010, it is now time to summarize in order to assess the positive impacts, problems and shortcomings, and propose content to adjust and supplement the Law on Minerals. In order to contribute to the improvement of the Mineral Law (amended), the author has some opinions to discuss about the assessment of the current status, shortcomings in law enforcement and proposals and recommendations to amend specific laws in this article
