Abstract:

In the field of transporting materials and people in underground mines, especially transporting explosives requires high safety. When designing an explosives-carrying wagon, in addition to dividing the material storage compartments with impact-reducing pads, the stiffness of the explosives-containing compartment plays an important role, especially in the event of a crash. The problem of crashes between tubes, especially collisions of means of transport, is focused in the design process. By mathematical models, the components of velocity, acceleration, force as well as deformation of the tubes after the crash are determined. However, this method gives not high accuracy as well as requires more experimental data. The development of dynamic simulation and crash simulation software now helps to reduce design time as well as improve the accuracy and visualization of simulation results. To serve the design and manufacture of industrial explosives-carrying wagons, the article researches the basis of collision theory, builds 3D wagon models and simulates crash to determine stress as well as deformation of the wagon.
