Abstract:

The article presents the results of two pilot projects of boxit exploitation and processing and alumina production in the Central Highlands: Lâm Đồng Boxit - Aluminium Complex Project and Nhân Cơ Alumin production Factory Project (in Đắk Nông province) and draw out problems that need to be further studied and solved to improve the effectiveness of the two projects. The results of the two projects mark the success of the pilot phase, and serve as a basis for the development of next new projects to promote the synchronous development of the boxit - alumina - aluminium industry to become an economic branch of important signi cance in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country
