Abstract:

According to the investigation and assessment results of the Federation of Radiation and Rare Geology, the Khe Hoa - Khe Cao area is an area with industrial prospects for uranium ore in sandstones, which needs investment in exploration and mine development. Therefore, research to contribute to clarifying mineralization characteristics and orienting the uranium exploration network in the Khe Hoa - Khe Cao area is necessary. This article introduces some new research results based on the combination of traditional geological methods and statistical methods, combining structural function analysis. The research results achieved are as follows: The uranium ore bodies in the area have a relatively complex structure, the ore bodies are seam-shaped, the lens seams are pseudo-congruent with the surrounding rocks, and the angle of insertion is gentle; The scale of ore bodies is small to medium. The average uranium content in ore bodies ranges from 0.027% to 0.073%, distributed unevenly to very unevenly (Vc = 86.0% to > 100%), belonging to the poor ore category. Based on the level of difficulty in exploration work, the research area is classified as exploration mine group III, requiring exploration to establish mining investment projects to reach level 122 reserves. To explore to meet the requirements for calculating reserves at level 122 for uranium ore bodies in the Khe Hoa - Khe Cao area, it is most reasonable to use a network of parallel lines, combined with odd fans, with distances between lines. drilling 50 - 60 m, drilling works on the route 25 - 30 m, surface works (wells) 25 - 30 m apart.
